Edith's great passion is crocheting woolly hats. That's why she founded the "NEUMÜHLE" brand together with her son Andreas in 2015. While Edith produces the collection at Neumühle , Andreas takes care of the development of the other collections and the day-to-day business. Andreas draws inspiration for the collections from his travels around the world and his everyday life in the heart of Zurich.
New paths in the textile industry
Since 2019, Andreas has been developing this vision further and breaking new ground in the textile industry in terms of sustainability, innovation and design. After a trip around the world from 2016 to 2017, which confronted him with the global plastic problem, Andreas decided to look for new innovative solutions. With a small team in Zurich, NEUMÜHLE is setting new standards and pushing the boundaries of the textile industry. In doing so, NEUMÜHLE focuses on a local and transparent supply chain - away from a throwaway society and towards a circular economy.
