The eco-balance of the textile industry is worrying. It produces ten percent of global C02 emissions. Fast fashion is no longer sustainable: We need alternatives. What happens to our clothes when they reach the end of their life? They end up in landfills or are sold to developing countries. Only one percent is recycled in the form of textile-to-textile (source: Federal Office for the Environment FOEN). Circular, innovative and sustainable solutions are more in demand than ever. We need products that do not require fossil resources in primary production and generate as few greenhouse gases as possible in manufacturing.

With the CIRCLE JACKET VON ADA , we are setting a milestone on the way to the sustainable production of textiles.
All components of the CIRCLE JACKET are obtained from mono-materials. The design was created so that they can be separated back into their original materials. This allows us to ensure pure material flows that can be reused at the end of their life, or processed into materials of the same quality. This brings CIRCLE JACKET VON ADA full circle. With our takeback program, we guarantee the reuse of all Materials.
This product aims to achieve a paradigm shift towards durable and recyclable products. The future is circular. And our CIRCLE JACKET is the first step towards it.

Yes, there is a jacket that has not been flown twice around the globe: All components of our CIRCLE JACKET are produced in a production radius of 400 km in the heart of Europe. The processing of the jacket takes place in the tailor's shop von Alice and Susanne near us in Switzerland. The name of the collection is dedicated to the dressmaker Ada, who is also responsible for the careful realization of our Net-Swimwear .

For the interior fabric we knocked on the big Italian brands and use their nylon surpluses, which give new life to the seasonal collections (so-called "dead-stocks"). We have limited ourselves exclusively to black fabrics. Nevertheless, there may be slight variations in the inner fabric from jacket to jacket.
We produce our snap fasteners in cooperation with Prym Eco Green. This involves the exclusive use of materials made from organic PE. The natural resource is obtained one hundred percent from sugar cane, revolutionizing the practice for this textile component. By using natural materials, we eliminate the use of fossil raw materials and the resulting
greenhouse gas emissions. Our sugar cane snap fasteners are made in Germany and are one hundred percent recyclable.
The warm winter jacket is equipped with PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation. As a result, our lining consists of 70% recycled polyester. In the coming months, this percentage will be increased to 100% in cooperation with our manufacturer. PrimaLoft® is not just an artificial alternative to the conventional down feather - the contemporary developed lining provides moisture-resistant cold protection in high-quality outdoor clothing and is also manufactured in southern Germany.
The circle is completed by the windproof outer fabric. It is made of regenerated fishing nets and nylon scraps. The material, which is produced under strict quality criteria and marketed under the brand ECONYL®, is woven for us in Como (Italy) according to our highest quality standards.

With our take-back program, we give jackets that are at the end of their life new life and mend them free of charge up to five years after purchase. If even a patch no longer helps, the individual parts are separated from each other and then reused or recycled. To encourage returns, customers get 20 percent off their next purchase. One less jacket that ends up in landfills or floods the import flow of used clothing to developing countries.
