Enveloped by the summer feeling of these Ticino beauties, we present our latest bathing costume named after the village of Rivera at the foot of Monte Ceneri. Developed in Zurich and manufactured in Lugano, the Rivera combines Swiss design and craftsmanship.

ZURICH LUGANO RETURN

To mark the launch, we're taking you on a visit to von Alice and Gianluca von Alice production facility. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, production has been running for two months and today is the big day. We pick up the order ourselves and travel two hours by train to Ticino. A coffee and a few emails from the train later, Gianluca opens the door to one of the last Swiss textile manufacturers for us

After a quick chat in the kitchen, it's off to production. Giuseppe, the master cutter, skillfully shows us how he cuts a piece from our collection.

SWISS CRAFTSMANSHIP

The beautifully prepared individual pieces are then handed over to Ada, the seamstress who specializes in our swimwear. She sews pretty much all the pieces we have made. The mood is cheerful and the weather is uncharacteristically cloudy but with a pleasant spring temperature.

Ada sews the piece into an entire bikini with routine and targeted hand movements. A Tresa bikini. She mentions that she finds this model the most difficult to sew.

NEW BATHROOM DRESS RIVERA

Next door, our brand new Rivera design is being ironed and prepared for packing. The anticipation is great. The two-layer bathing gown with a balanced silhouette and comfortable fit is the ideal addition to our Verzsaca bathing gown. It is available in all ten colors and the recycled material made from nylon scraps and old fishing nets protects you from the warm summer rays thanks to its high UV protection.

DESCRIPTION
Your Rivera swimwear is designed and manufactured here in Switzerland from nylon scraps, so-called ECONYL® yarn. This is done with minimal transport routes in mind, so that VON ALICE swimwear is produced within a radius of 250 kilometers in the heart of Europe.

Using what already exists is our credo: We repair your swimwear free of charge for up to 5 years after purchase.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
The swimwear can be washed at a maximum of 40°C and is best washed in a wash bag that collects microplastics. However, we recommend hand washing, as this will keep your Net-Swimwear in shape the longest. Air dry and do not tumble dry.
