VERZASCA, ASCONA AND NOW RIVERA

Take a quick dip in the cool waters of the Lido Ascona lido, or enjoy the impressive mountain world of the Verzasca Valley from the riverbed. Wrapped in the summer feeling of these Ticino beauties, we are introducing our latest swimsuit, named after the small village of Rivera at the foot of Monte Ceneri. Developed in Zurich and manufactured in Lugano, the Rivera combines Swiss design and craftsmanship.

ZURICH LUGANO RETURN

For the launch, we are taking you along for a visit to Alice and Gianluca's production facility. Wednesday, April 16, 2025; production has been running for two months, and today is the big day. We are picking up the order ourselves and traveling two hours by train to Ticino. A coffee and a few emails from the train later, Gianluca opens the doors for us to one of the last Swiss textile factories.

After a quick chat in the kitchen, we head into production. Giuseppe, the master cutter, expertly shows us how he cuts a piece from our collection.

SWISS CRAFTSMANSHIP

Afterward, the beautifully prepared individual parts are handed over to the seamstress Ada, the specialist for our swimwear. She sews pretty much all the pieces we have manufactured. The mood is cheerful, and the weather is atypically overcast but with pleasant spring temperatures.

Ada sews the piece into a complete bikini with routine and precise movements. Into a Tresa bikini. In doing so, she mentions that she finds this model the most difficult to sew.

NEW RIVERA SWIMSUIT

Next door, our brand-new Rivera design is being ironed and made ready for packaging. The anticipation is high. The double-layered swimsuit with a balanced silhouette and comfortable fit is the ideal addition to our Verzasca swimsuit. It is available in all ten colors, and the recycled material made from nylon scraps and old fishing nets protects you from the warm summer rays thanks to its high UV protection.
