At Neumühle, we are committed to more humanity in the textile industry, because social sustainability is the foundation of a healthy society. That is why we work only directly with our manufacturers, maintain honest and long-standing relationships, and visit them regularly.

At Neumühle, we are committed to more humanity in the textile industry, because social sustainability is the foundation of a healthy society. That is why we work only directly with our manufacturers, maintain honest and long-standing relationships, and visit them regularly.
Material and repair
We use recycled and ecologically durable materials for our products. In contrast to traditional synthetic fabric production, recycling nylon waste saves new, limited crude oil and avoids CO2 emissions by using what already exists. For some of our collections, we offer a free repair service, which allows us to keep our products in the cycle for as long as possible.
This involves calculating how much CO2 emission we avoid by using ECONYL® yarn instead of standard nylon from primary production. How much socially protected workspace we have created in collaboration with the Züriwerk Foundation. How much waste has been recycled for the production of ECONYL® yarn, and how many products we have been able to give a second life thanks to our repair service.
FOR MANY YEARS.
Since 2018, by using ECONYL® regenerated nylon instead of virgin nylon, we have saved 20,075 kg of CO₂.
